  6.        DOS-CALC is a fully functional calculator program with many useful
  7.        functions not found in other calculator programs.  DOS-CALC is a DOS
  8.        program, but has the files necessary to set up and run in WINDOWS,
  9.        as a full screen DOS window.  DOS-CALC is a program, not a TSR which
  10.        uses precious memory from ALL programs.

  13.        DOS-CALC is the perfect tool to use for calculations not requiring
  14.        the power of a spreadsheet.  It has all of the standard calculator
  15.        functions plus many unique features, such as: a straight line linear
  16.        fit, annuity loan payment and balance, trig, log, exponents, constant
  17.        memory registers, a built-in screen saver, on-line help and much more.

  20.        DOS-CALC has an integrated unit conversion function.  There are over
  21.        400 conversions already entered, but unique to DOS-CALC is the ability
  22.        to add more, up to 600 more!  DOS-CALC also has a unique TABLE feature.
  23.        A number of example tables are also included.  A table is a list of
  24.        items by description and a value.  DOS-CALC allows you to open a table
  25.        and select the value to be returned back to the calculator.  The table
  26.        feature allows you to have an unlimited amount of information readily
  27.        available.  This is especially useful for portable computing (in the
  28.        field).  You can create your own tables (up 100 tables) each containing
  29.        up to 1200 entries.  Tables are simple ASCII (text) files which you
  30.        can easily create with a text editor, spreadsheet or database program.

  32.        Of course, the best feature of DOS-CALC is that it is truly a tape
  33.        display calculator.  It saves your work (180 lines) even after you
  34.        shut your computer off.  You can scroll back and review your
  35.        previous calculations.  The complete tape can be printed on one sheet
  36.        of 8-1/2 x 11 paper or saved as a text file.

  38.        DOS-CALC just got easier to use!  Starting with version 3.0, Microsoft(R)
  39.        mouse support has been added.  Its all automatic.  If you have a
  40.        Microsoft or compatible mouse, DOS-CALC will automatically detect it.

  42.        by pointing and clicking.

  45.        to register your copy and receive your own personalized registration
  46.        number to remove the shareware screen.  Unlike most software products,
  47.        DOS-CALC's registration is a LIFETIME registration.  Your registration
  48.        number will validate future releases of DOS-CALC.  Registered users of
  49.        DOS-CALC will receive written notification of new releases.  You may
  50.        pick up a new release from your local ASP software vendor, ASP BBS or
  51.        acquire a disk directly from DOS-CALC.  The latest version of DOS-CALC
  52.        is always available on CompuServe by typing GO IBMSYS and is located in
  53.        the DESKTOP library section.  The filename is DCALCx.ZIP, where x is the
  54.        current version number (example: DCALC3.ZIP).  Again, your registration
  55.        number will validate your new copy (no upgrade fees required)!
